"Ron did such an amazing job photographing our wedding! He was the first and only photographer we met with and we knew right from seeing his photos that we were going to choose him and we were not disappointed! He had the timing of everything down perfectly going over our schedure carefully, he took photos at great angles I never thought of and captured natural looking images that I will treasure forever. Ron was easy to work with and we had such a great time working with him, he was always saying "I Love this" and "You look great"! I would recommend him to anyone. We would love to work with him again anytime! Thank you Ron!"

1. How can I help ensure great photos on our wedding day?

That's a good question. A well-planned timeline, good communication with me and having a good location to shoot in is a tremendous help. Shooting in a well lit room helps the lighting. Like in retail, Location, Location, Location is one of the secrets to getting great photos. In addition to that is Lighting. Lighting, Lighting, Lighting. I specialize in getting the lighting right. I studied lighting for many when working in the film business and apply that knowledge to my still photography.

Photographed at sundown on a golf course.

The Bride in her beautiful dress, the Groom in a black tux, lush greenery, a lake and a cloudy bluish sky all helped to make this a photo a winner. My other job as the photographer was to nail the exposure, the focus and add just a little bit of extra light from a subdued flash.

2. Why choose me as your wedding photographer instead of a larger company?

When you choose me as your wedding photographer, you're not just hiring a professional—you’re getting a dedicated partner who is personally invested in capturing every special moment of your day. I offer a truly personalized experience, taking the time to understand your vision, style, and unique story. From our first conversation to delivering your photos, you’ll always work directly with me.

3. How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

It's recommended to book your wedding photographer 9–12 months in advance, especially if you're planning a wedding during peak seasons (spring, summer, or fall). Top photographers' schedules fill quickly, so securing your date early is crucial.

4. Do you offer customizable wedding photography packages?

Yes, I offer customizable packages to meet your unique needs.

5. Do you offer engagement sessions, and are they included in your packages?

Engagement sessions are available at one of the many beautiful locations in the New England Area.

6. How many images will we receive, and how long will it take to get them?

On average, couples receive 100 edited images for every hour of photography.

For an 8 hour wedding you will receive at least 800 images.

Turnaround time is one to two weeks.

7. Will you edit all of our photos?

Yes, all images are professionally edited to ensure consistent quality. This includes color correction, exposure adjustments, and retouching.

8. Do you have backup equipment?

Absolutely! Professional photographers always carry backup cameras, lenses, memory cards, and lighting equipment to ensure nothing is missed due to technical issues. I shoot with two cameras so I have a back up camera at my fingertips.

9. Do you have liability insurance?

Yes, I have a $2M liability and property damage insurance policy through. The Professional Photographers of America.

10. Can we provide a shot list for specific photos we’d like?

Yes, I welcome a shot list of must-have photos.

11. Do you offer albums or printed products?

Yes and no. The online portfolio that is included with your package is also an online store for high-quality printed products, including canvas prints, and fine art prints, framed or unframed. I provide a link to a company that specializes in wedding albums. You arrange the images on your computer and then they will print your album.

12. How do you handle unexpected weather or lighting challenges?

I am skilled at adapting to all conditions, whether it’s rain, low light, or harsh sunlight. I come prepared with the right equipment and techniques to ensure stunning images in any situation.

13. Can you accommodate multiple locations on the wedding day?

Yes, of course I do that all the time. Accurate addresses and names of venues are a must for Google Maps to get me to any location.

14. Do you work with a second photographer or assistant?

My basic packages do not include a  second photographer or assistant. I have a list of other lead photographers that I work with if a second photographer is needed.

15. What happens if you’re unable to photograph our wedding due to an emergency?

I always have a contingency plan. I have access to a network of trusted lead photographers that I have worked with in the past who can step in. This will be in your contract.

16. What’s required to book you as our photographer?

A signed contract and a non-refundable* retainer fee 50% of the package total are required to secure your date. * My contract allows for certain circumstances for a deposit or partial deposit to be refundable.

17. Can we share our wedding photos on social media?

Absolutely! I provide high-resolution, watermark-free images for your personal use. In addition you can access your online photo gallery from any devise and share photos that way.

18. How do you ensure our photos are safely stored?

I have a Fail Safe system. My camera uses dual memory cards during shooting which gives us the first back up instantly. In my studio the images are saved to computer and then backed up right away to an external hard drive. All this is done while the images are still on the SD cards.

19. Do you offer video services as well?

No, not directly. But I have a list of great videographers that I work with who I can confidently recommend. In the future I may be able to include a videographer in a wedding package.

20. Is an 8 hour day package 8 hours of photography?

Yes. The start time that we choose together is the time I start photographing. I always arrive 30 - 45 minutes early (before start time) to a wedding. This allows me plenty of time to be on time. I usually stop as I am driving up to a venue to get some exterior shots – even though it is technically before shoot time.
